Macrumors has pulled together some more speculation on the imminent release of the Intel ‘Merom’ processor, better known as Core 2 Duo. The speculation is based on this AppleInsider article -

I’d love to believe the hype. I’m sure everybody at Code 42 would too since we’re holding off purchasing any new Macbook Pros until the ‘Merom’ based version comes out.
